Opsis is honored to announce that the City of Redmond’s Redmond Senior & Community Center was recognized with a Merit Award by the AIA Oregon at the 2026 Design Awards.
The Redmond Senior & Community Center (RSCC) completes Redmond’s Municipal Campus, weaving together the civic commons and natural setting of the Sammamish River Trail to create a vibrant community resource for Redmond residents of all ages. Located on the site of the former senior center, the center fosters community connections, supports healthy lifestyles and embodies the City’s environmental goals. Organized into recreation and community wings linked by a light-filled central lobby, the RSCC supports inclusive and cultural programming for all ages and with dedicated space for Redmond’s seniors. Constructed with an innovative hybrid mass timber system, the LEED Platinum building balances affordability, sustainability and visitor experience.
