Heckart Lodge Renovation

A small project with a big transformational impact, Opsis led an integrated design-build team to renovate Heckart Lodge for OSU’s Graduate School.

With a stated goal to improve natural light, we leveraged required acoustical upgrades to open the stair, add skylights and windows, and separate the Testing Center on level three.
Together with new finishes and graphics, the office, classroom and meeting spaces create new opportunities for collaboration. Additionally, Opsis led the Director-level Historic Preservation Permit process, which was approved through the City of Corvallis.
Completed in 2017, we teamed with Andersen Construction for OSU’s first design-build project.
