We stand with the AAPI community
Fueled by racism, violence continues to rob people of color of their lives, safety, and emotional well-being.
We encourage all members of our community to join us in exploring ways to fight racism against Asian Americans and all those subject to expressions of hate.
The recent murders in Atlanta are another tragic reminder that we live in a society continually tested by hate and violence against the AAPI community, including a disproportionate number of women and the elderly.
We are devastated and heartbroken.
Again we ask ourselves what can be done…individually, collectively?
What we need is more anti-hate. Let’s stand against hate and call out hateful and racist behavior including insensitive comments, jokes and insinuations wherever and whenever we see it. Let’s act as allies against hate and support groups doing the important anti-hate / anti-racist work in the community.
