Opsis worked with the Hood River Parks and Recreation Department and Hood River community to evaluate alternatives to address the existing Hood River Aquatic Center, originally built in 1948.
Location: Hood River, OR
A full assessment of the pool and systems, market studies and community workshops were part of the evaluation of five scenarios, ranging from upgrades of less than $2 million to a full $20 million replacement facility.
A detailed study was provided to the City and for community consideration in a bond election.
