Michael Gorham
AIA, LEED AP
Michael Gorham is committed to the belief that architecture should be affordable, accessible, and sustainable for all. Prior to joining Opsis, Mike worked as a Project Architect at Wenzlau Architects on Bainbridge Island, Washington for the past five-and-a-half years. There, he worked on a number of mixed-use and multi-family projects, including the $42 million Bainbridge Landing project. This multi-family housing project is slated to be LEED Gold Certified.
He has also been involved with a number of sustainability-focused organizations; he served on the Board of Directors for Housing Resources Bainbridge, a non-profit provider of affordable housing; assisted with the update and development of the Comprehensive Plan produced by Architects for a Sustainable Bainbridge; and was a scholarship recipient/training alumni of EMERGE, a selective leadership training program for advocates of sustainable construction from across the country.
Mike earned a Master in Architecture and BFA in Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he graduated magna cum laude. He is a registered architect in the state of Washington and a LEED accredited professional. He is also an Autodesk Revit Architecture Certified Professional.
