Interior Designer

Portland, Oregon-based Opsis Architecture is searching for an Interior Designer to join our practice. Our mission is to advance our client’s vision with inclusive and inspired design that elevates the human experience and nurtures our environment through the enduring art of architecture. We are seeking an Interior Designer candidate who is interested in opportunity for growth with our firm. Our Interior Design staff work as part of an integrated project team



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in interior architecture or interior design
  • Ability to communicate design intent through digital and traditional graphic methods
  • 5+ years’ experience in a professional architectural practice
  • NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer and/or Interior Architect License preferred
  • Ability and desire to lead projects with a degree of independence depending on project size and complexity
  • Experience working with clients, consultant and architectural design teams
  • Compile construction documents package for projects and deliver through documentation and detailing
  • Thorough understanding of and ability to select, specify and schedule materials and FF&E
  • A sustainability interest / LEED Accreditation or other professional green credentials as a starting point for commitment to the demands of our clients and the passion of our firm in the realm of diversity and inclusion, sustainability and the power of architecture to lead in the creation of an open, empathetic, and regenerative society.
  • Proficiency in Revit, 3D Studio, SketchUp, InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite
